What do timeshare owners really want and need from their vacation ownership? While no one truly has a crystal ball to answer all of these questions, the NTOA has leveraged specialized language technology to gain powerful insights into the mindsets of timeshare owners. In late 2013, the National Timeshare Owners Association formed a working relationship with Intuition Brand Marketing to gain this unique and powerful knowledge. With Intuition's customized software solution, the NTOA was able to develop an independent social listening program to observe what owners were saying online about timeshare. After several months, it was determined that a social media study could be created from the collection of this data in the United States. Unlike other industry polls, surveys or other research previously conducted, the Timeshare Owners Study (TOS) is a first-of-its kind study intended to capture true owner perception of product and service.
